These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JobWatchCanada website, available at https://jobwatchcanada.com (the "Service"), operated by JobWatchCanada ("we", "us", or "our"). The Service is operated by CivicLayer.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service.


1. Eligibility

You must be at least thirteen (13) years of age, or the minimum age at which you are not considered a minor in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.


2. Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep such information up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms.


3. Description of the Service

JobWatchCanada is not a job board and does not host, accept, or publish job postings from employers.

The Service aggregates and summarizes publicly available job posting information sourced directly from the Government of Canada Job Bank. The summaries provided are for informational purposes only and do not include all information contained in the original job posting. The Service provides links directing users to the original job postings on the official Job Bank website.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any aggregated or summarized information. Errors may occur due to parsing, aggregation, or changes made by the source.


4. Subscriptions and Billing

Access to certain features of the Service requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed on a monthly, auto-renewing basis unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.

Payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis.

Refund Policy

Refunds are available within fourteen (14) days of the initial subscription purchase. After this period, payments are non-refundable.

The Service may include AI-generated responses based on aggregated job posting data. Such responses are provided for informational purposes only and may contain errors or omissions.

JobWatchCanada makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content and disclaims any liability arising from reliance on such content.


7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including but not limited to text, design, layout, logos, branding, and software, is the exclusive property of JobWatchCanada or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No rights are granted to you except as expressly set forth in these Terms.


8. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use, modify, and implement such feedback without compensation or attribution.


9. Third-Party Content and Links

The Service contains links to third-party websites, including the Government of Canada Job Bank. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party websites.

Your use of third-party websites is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and policies.


10. No Employment or Outcome Guarantee

JobWatchCanada does not guarantee employment, interviews, job offers, or hiring outcomes. We are not responsible for the actions of employers or the validity of job postings.


11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.


12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobWatchCanada shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.


13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JobWatchCanada from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.


14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.


15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.


16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
